The Brisbane Branch meets on the first Sunday of the month from 1 – 3 pm at THECA, 47 Fleming Rd, Chapel Hill, 4069. Meetings focus on the invited speaker. The next meeting will be held on 3 Nov 2019.

SPECIAL EVENT: Kupae (Max Dillon) will preform an indigenous ceremony. 

Alex Derrick will speak on "Our Journey so far" Alex owns and operates Spicers Hollow Native Bees which runs Bee Rescue services and fabricates a range of hives and accessories. Born in Canberra, he moved to Brisbane in 1980. He has previously worked as a Motor Mechanic, Welder / steel fabricator, Carpenter and Timber craftsman. He loves the Outdoors, Camping, Fishing, 4x4, Bushwalking and Coffee. He is currently occupied as a Coffee farmer and running Spicers Hollow Native Bees. He background equips him well for his design and construction of innovative Hives, Observation hives, Steel hive mounts and Security cages.
